Futures Finland invites members to a book event with Joana Lenkova, futurist, strategist, founder of Futures Forward, and author of the forthcoming book From Foresight to Action: Your Strategic Decision-Making Playbook for an Uncertain World. Drawing on two decades of experience in strategy, innovation, brand building, and foresight, Joana helps organizations navigate uncertainty and transform insight into action.

In her new book, Joana argues that uncertainty is no longer a temporary disruption on the way back to stability. It is the environment in which leaders operate every day. While many foresight processes successfully explore trends, scenarios, and possible futures, the real challenge often begins afterwards: making decisions. Joana calls this challenge the Decision Gap, the space between knowing and doing, between futures intelligence and future-ready action.

In this interactive session, Joana will share key thoughts and learnings from her book, including practical approaches to decision-making under uncertainty, building future-ready organizations, and making foresight matter in practice. We'll also discuss Joana's journey in the field and invite participants to join the conversation with questions and new perspectives.
